Day 3

Educational tour 1

By bike, to the Giants of Mont’e Prama
The first offer is a cycling tour, albeit a short one, divided into two stages: From Alghero to Sinis via Bosa, and the areas of Planargia and Montiferru. This fascinating and varied route combines experiences with a variety of landscapes. Guests can choose between a regular or pedal-assisted bike and will be accompanied by experienced guides, with a minivan backup providing logistical support and assistance.

Day 1
from Alghero to Tresnuraghes - 60 km. 1100 m altitude difference

Starting from Alghero, the route follows the coast road to Bosa, one of Sardinia’s most spectacular cycling routes, on a wonderful up-and-down ride between coves and cliffs, surrounded by wild nature. Lunch break and visit of the town of Bosa. In the afternoon, the route continues through the vineyards of the Planargia area with a stopover at the Malvasia winery for a short visit and tasting session. Dinner and overnight stay in a bike hotel in Tresnuraghes.

Day 2
from Tresnuraghes to Cabras - 65 km. 800m altitude difference

Today, we will explore Montiferru, an authentic treasure trove of top-quality food & wine specialties and natural attractions. During the first part of the day, we will be making our way up the western slope through olive groves, holm oak and holly forests, where the damage incurred by the devastating fire in 2021 – from which they are slowly beginning to recover – can be seen. We will stop for lunch in the village of Santu Lussurgiu, and then continue in the afternoon on a fun descent back to the sea in the Sinis Peninsula, where we will visit the Cabras Museum with the amazing statues of the Giants of Monte ‘e Prama.
